I am experiencing a critical issue with my ADALM-PLUTO REV.C SDR device after connecting external power. The device was previously functioning correctly when powered via USB, but after connecting additional antennas and using external power, it is no longer recognized by the computer. Below are the detailed observations and troubleshooting steps I have performed so far:
Issue Description:
- Initially, the PlutoSDR worked normally via USB (Windows environment).
- After connecting external antennas, I powered the device externally to ensure proper voltage and stability.
- Once the setup was completed, the next day, the device failed to work when connected back to the computer via USB (even without external power).
- In Windows Device Manager, it now appears as:
"Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)."
- I tested it on multiple computers and operating systems (Windows & Linux) and also attempted using external power again—the result is the same.
- Attempting to enter DFU mode by pressing the boot button while connecting the USB cable did not work.
LED Behavior:
- When connected via USB, the READY LED stays solid while LED1 blinks.
- When powering with the BOOT button pressed, LED1 remains fully ON (constant bright state), but DFU mode does not activate.
