Why is bandwidth limited to 500mhz in the FMCW demo

Question

I couldn't see it documented and my understanding is the hardware can do higher bandwidth chirps - so why is the phaser demos limited to 500mhz? Is it because of the frequency restrictions at 10.5Ghz or is there a hardware limitation I did not consider? 
 It seems like you could go from 9.5Ghz -> 10.5Ghz if power levels are low.

Hi John, 
 Yes, there is nothing that presents a hard limit to the 500MHz chirp. However, the 3dB BW of the receive antenna array is about 800MHz. With around 500MHz being the flattest portion of that. See below:)
