Signal recording

Question

Hi, 
 I would like to capture IQ samples of a RF signal using 60 ksps sampling frequency. 
 Since the recording time could reach several hours, I would like to save the data directly on a PC connected to ADALM PLUTO. 
 I found the following Matlab examples Capture RF Data to Baseband File Using ADALM-PLUTO Radio - MATLAB & Simulink - MathWorks Italia 
 However, I don't have Matlab and was wondering if there is an alternative simple method to achieve the goal. (python?)

I think the easiest way to achieve this is to use pyadi-iio. This example generates a sine wave on tx, and acquires rx plots it on the screen. https://github.com/analogdevicesinc/pyadi-iio/blob/main/examples/pluto.py You can take out the sine generation change up the plotting to recording.)
