I've tested the 1.3.8 release with Mac. The Alice-Desktop software works OK, but the dc-meter-source-tool-1.3 code hangs with the spinning circle of death whenever I click "Run". I've tried it on both High Sierra and Mojave.
I hacked a version of 1.3.7 to work with Python 3 that worked fine.
Not sure what other information I can provide.
Changes were made to make dc-meter-source-tool-1.3 compatible with Python 3. I don't have access to an OSX machine to test. If you could provide more detail then we might determine the Mac specific cause. When run in the IDLE does it print any errors in the shell?
Hmmm... weirdly, it started working. Not sure what's changed.
Good to hear. I was doubting that particular bit of code could work in Windows and Linux but not OSX especially give that the much larger ALICE desktop works in all three.
Since this seems answered I'll mark this question as answered.
