common emitter tutorial for ADALM1000

Hi,
I am a professor of physics at the University of Maryland.  Professor Linke (cc'd) and I are using the ADALM1000 to teach an online electronics course this fall.  I have been working through your lovely list of labs at: https://wiki.analog.com/university/courses/alm1k/alm_circuits_lab_outline

One of the labs I wanted my students to do is the "common emitter amplifier".  However, when I click on this link, which leads me to https://wiki.analog.com/university/courses/alm1k/alm-lab-5  it looks like something went wrong in the latest update of this page, as the lab is not there.  I could use the "previously approved version".  However, this one doesn't have any suggested values for R_1, R_2, R_L, and R_B.  Should there be?
Best

  • Just one further comment with regard to providing the resistor values. The idea behind not providing explicit values in this case (and many other labs as well) was to make this more of a design exercise for Electrical Engineering students anyway.
