Question

in this lab: https://wiki.analog.com/university/courses/alm1k/alm-lab-15 
 The hexapath is configured as a 1:5 step up transformer. I have the breakout board version of this transformer from the ADALP2000 parts kit. Can someone please tell me what pin numbers are involved 1) when connecting the YX8018 part to one side of the transformer and 2) what pin numbers are connected to the step up side going to the load? Also, do any pins have to be linked?

The pinout for the HPH1-1400L Hexapath multi-winding coil can be found in this (and many others on transformers) lab in figure 3:

 I think that in the case of the lab that uses the YX8018 part from a solar garden light, the step up "transformer" might have been salvaged from another Dollar store item, namely a burglar alarm that used it to drive the piezoelectric buzzer.
