firmware update failed and cannot access Pluto

In Device Manager, it shows up as a Universal Serial Bus Device and is called USB download gaget. The problem is that only OS(C) shows up in Windows Explorer and I can't access Pluto. I've used DFU mode many times in the past.

After trying various things, Pluto's functionality was restored, but it is not displayed in the Explorer window. How can I fix this?

When you say that "functionality was restored", what exactly do you mean by that, and how fully was it restored?
