pysmu not found on Mac

Is the target folder where pysmu is installed on your PYTHONPATH?

Do you mean the site-packages folder? Or something else?

I add 

export PYTHONPATH="/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/3.7/lib/python3.7/site-packages:$PYTHONPATH"

to the .bash_profile file.

I can see the PYTHONPATH has been set to this value by echo command. I can see pysmu in this path "/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/3.7/lib/python3.7/site-packages"

But still I get pysmu not found error :(

What is the output of: python -c "import sys; print(sys.path)"

Please use the same python command you are using for your tests (ex: python3 or python3.7).

If you cd into the pysmu egg folder can you import the module?

This is the result of the commands:

python3.7 -c "import sys; print(sys.path) 

and cd to the .egg file directory and import pysmu

When you built and installed libsmu it should put the library itself in /usr/local/lib. Is it there and is that on your path?

Yes, It is there. I should add /usr/local/lib to the PATH.
