libad9361-iio FIR Filter Design for ADALM PlutoSDR

Currently, there is only a C API  if you want to use libad9361-iio, no bindings exist yet. For designing custom filters right now requires MATLAB or a C application.

There are two examples "libiio-power_supply_noise_sniffer" and "pyadi-iio_power_supply_noise_sniffer"
that are loading FIR filters via Python. One is using simply libiio + python bindings and the other one is based on pyadi-iio

Look for defined function "load_filter()"

Can I ask what is the purpose of the FIR filter in the AD9363 transceiver chip?

The filters do a few things:

1. Equalize passband response

2. Allow faster clocks through more decimation

3. Allow lower rates, anything below 2.08 MHz the FIR must be used

4. Adjacent channel attenuation

Based on the picture above in transmit section, how do I activate those 2 filters marked with red arrows before the mixers in Python?
