Hello,
I'am working on a high power AD2437 main and bus powered sub node.
When flashing with Sigma Studio + I got "Critical short found at main node" error message.
If I disable for the sub node the "enable two step discovery" option, the bus work fine.
I saw in another post that's due to A2B wire length incorrect.
I'am looking how to update the wire length in Sigma Studio +
Best regards
Loïc
Select the block after the cable indicator. then in the properties (not the right click properties; the little properties thing that be defaults is on the right side) enter the length and then hit enter.
then hit the link-compile button or the value may not stick (known bug, may be fixed).

I'm pretty sure in SS+ 2 step discovery expects a valid EEPROM for node ID on the next node. ADI boards come with that set, if you are using your own board then you need to do that.
As a general comment SS+ error messages are not helpful; for example if there was really a short then changing the discovery type would make no difference as a short is a short...YMMV
