I am part of Intel Automotive Division and we would like to present to our customers a A2B use case. Our product is a base platform for future IVI systems. We would like to show how one could connect 2 of these platforms to demonstrate the A2B use case.
The 2 devices which we want to connect via A2B, have I2S headers on which I know how to transmit Audio data on its TX and record on its RX:
What I need help with is with:
The A2B transmitters, these can be evaluation boards.
Any special cables that would connect the A2B transmitters to the main/sub device or between themselves.
How to configure the 2 transmitters so when I play on the I2S header TX it will transmit the Audio signal all the way to the sub device where I can record from the I2S header RX.
Please help me identify the Analog Devices products that could help us show this A2B use case. Also any help on how to do the SW and HW configuration would be greatly appreciated.
Without sounding like an ad, I'll jump in with a suggestion.
Depending on the details, the Clockworks A2B modules might be easier than the ADI EVM boards to integrate in to the system you're trying to put together. For example https://clk.works/products/a2b-products/a2b-module/ , they're available for AD2437 in case that's a better fit than AD2428.
