AD2428: Why need PMOS1:VGS=-/+20V?

Question

My customer choose SSM3J374R for PMOS1. 
 The SSM3J374R has VGSS: 20/+10V, and I think it has achieved the required specification "VGS>=20V" in the recommended Schematic. 
 Can SSM3J374R be used for PMOS1?
