AD2428 NODEADDR INTTYPE

Category: Software
Product Number: AD2428BCPZ
Software Version: sigmastudio4.5

dears:

At present, my ad2428BCPZ is running normally, but capture is still showing improvement in the block image. I have found that the data in this register is 0x00. What should I consider about this problem?

  • Hi Tom Jackson,

The value 0x00 in register 0x17 means their is header count error occurring in the system.
Please make sure the A2B is locking to the PLL.
Can you specify the occurrence of the condition, means after discovery or before discovery.

    Thanks,

  • Hi Swaroop:

this question is found after discovery.

What is the relationship between whether THE PLL of A2B is locked or not? I have located some places, but there is still no solution. So far it looks like the clock on the host and the data transmission upstream and downstream are all associated with waveform. It's just that SigmaStudio keeps brushing these registers, but I know INTTYPE can see some reasons for errors.

    Thanks,

  • Hi Tom Jackson,

As your snippet indicate you are reading the peripheral register, Please make sure that you are reading the A2B register.
If the PLL doesn't lock, Inttype register is not updated with new value. In your case as mentioned, PLL is locked so this cased is not considered.

    Thanks.

  • Hi Swaroop:

As in the picture, what I am confused about is that after I use usbi to run the a2b project on sigmastudio, the system succeeds, but the system will always automatically write NODEADR and BECNT, and read the INTSRC register , the yellow one you marked was manipulated by the read window on the processor side. Did the constant write count value and the address of the slave node trigger an interrupt for the system to write? But I read the description of the register, and it did not point to any specific interrupt, but I wrote it on the ADI demo, and this problem did not occur.

    Thanks!

  • Hi Tom,

If you are selected the line fault diagnosis, then it is normal to observe the reads continuously.

Please find the attachment for reference.

It is in target processor > Line fault Diagnostics.

    Please uncheck the option.

    Thanks.
