If I wanted to use the CN0178 board as part of a custom test system, ex: a Visual Basic test program, are there software drivers available with or without using the EVAL-SDP-CB1Z board?

Hi Boyapati,

The system was designed to interface directly to the SDP platform.  From there you can use the software and do some testing with it, to check out the performance of the system.

The only drivers we provide are for the ADI components that are on the boards.  In this case we do have a driver for the ADC (AD7466) available here.( http://wiki.analog.com/linux-ad7476a )  You could use this driver along with the schematic and other design files ( http://www.analog.com/static/imported-files/circuit_notes/CN0178-DesignSupport.zip ) to be able to insert this into your custom application.  But again note, that the board itself was not designed with this methodology in mind.
