USB daughter board support on 21469??

Hi Guys,

 

I wonder whether we have support of the USB EZ-Extender support on the 21469 EZ-Kit? I only see Auido Extenders support not the USB EZ-Extender?

 

If yes, do we have the USB drivers support on the VDSP 5.0 update 6 tools?

You have mentioned Auido Extender not the USB-EZ extender, we us ethe USB-EZ Extender for USB streaming from PC.

 

I  am looking for a USB extender like below for 21469 board, Below one support untill 21369 not 21469?

Hi Kishore,

The USB-EZ extender you refer to does not (and will not) support the ADSP-21469 EZ-Board / EZ-KIT evaluation system. The reason being that the new ADSP-21469 EZ-Board / EZ-KIT (same applies for the ADSP-BF526 and ADSP-BF518 evaluation boards) implements the new Expansion Interface II, which differs from the older expansion interface used on previous boards, and therefore it is not pin compatible with the older extenders. 

Having said this, a new Blackfin/SHARC USB EZ-Extender, compatible with the ADSP-21469/ADSP-BF526/ADSP-BF518 evaluation boards, will be released, including SW support and examples for the ADSP-21469, along with VisualDSP++ 5.0 Update 7. The new extender and Update 7 are both due for release sometime next week. Please keep an eye on www.analog.com/processors/tools/SHARC
