How do I move my VisualDSP++ Floating License Server to a new machine?

Set up your new license server and reinstall your client licenses to point to this new server. You can find information on how to do this in Chapter 3 of our Licensing Guide. If you have VisualDSP++ 5.0 installed on your client machine you can find our Licensing Guide here -

Once you have done this, re-register each serial number with the host ID of the new server to receive a new validation code. Detailed information on how to obtain and enter a validation code can be found in chapter 4 of our Licensing Guide and our license registration web page can be found here - http://www.analog.com/processors/tools/register

We recommend that you then e-mail private support via http://www.analog.com/processors/support, requesting that the old machine(s) be removed from your registration history. Be sure to include all relevant serial numbers and host IDs. A registration history will be provided upon request.

Once your new server is up and running, disable the old server.
