Hi Martin,

Yes, based on your description you would need a sample rate conversion.

ADI does provide a SRC code. Check out the following link for all the optimized algorithms for Blackfin:

http://www.analog.com/en/embedded-processing-dsp/blackfin/content/blackfin_software_modules/fca.html

The SRC is the very first example. The MIPS information is included in the documentation for the software code.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Kaushal

Blackfin MP3 Decoder - Sample Rate Conversion necessary?

I'm intending to use the BF_MP3_DECODER core to decode 10 MP3 channels simultanously on a BF537@533MHz.

The Audio Sink is 32kHz Sampling Rate, Mono. Do I need a dedicated Sample Rate Conversion when using MP3s encoded with e.g. 44.1kHz oder 48kHz? How would you estimate the additional processor load for this?

Regards...
